Kat is one of the principal partners of Water’s Edge. She was formally introduced to paddling in 2000, which has given her a true appreciation for joining a sport as an adult athlete through her involvement in dragon boat, outrigger canoe and marathon canoe. She currently fulfills a managing partner role within the company, which gives her the opportunity to bring and expand paddle sports to  the many communities and individuals that Water’s Edge reaches.
Her time is divided to include operational and personnel management, as well as the inception, development and implementation of the many programs offered by Water’s Edge. She enjoys being on the front lines and being a catalyst for creating new opportunities that enhance the lives of all those touched by paddle sports.
