Rick is one of the principal owners of Water's Edge and brings years of experience in contract negotiations, marketing, logistics and public relations to round out the Water's Edge team. His considerable experiences in managing multi-million dollar projects world wide brings a wealth of knowledge to Water's Edge. His experience in dealing with the public and corporate worlds allows Water's Edge to fit in anywhere.

He has been involved with all aspects of water sports .His background in Marine Biology and his considerable experience in dealing in fresh and salt water environments ensures that all the aspects of the environment are a primary consideration at Waters edge events. He has been involved in paddling since 1970 starting out in rowing, and later became involved in the world of dragonboating in 1988. Rick has raced for a variety of recreational and competitive teams in both locally and international waters. Rick began sharing his passion for the sport in 1995 by coaching novice and competitive teams, as well as, being on the race committee for five years of one of the largest dragon boat events in North America - The Alcan Dragon Boat Festival.
