Jackie is a co-founder and principal partner of Water's Edge Sport Performance Inc. an international paddle sport company. From the early years as a junior development olympic kayak/canoe coach, to the recent years of working with Water's Edge in Vancouver. Jackie has spent the past 25 years enhancing the growth and development of paddle sports, principally Dragon Boats, Outrigger Canoes and Kayaks. She is acknowledged as an expert in the design and implementation of high performance paddle sport coaching and team effectiveness programs. Jackie has assembled a group of the best paddlers, coaches and event management personnel in the world to represent the Water’s Edge Team.

Andrea has been involved with paddling, coaching and instructing for 38 years. With the desire to create innovative, effective and results oriented programs and teaching models for paddlers and coaches of all levels, Andrea and Jackie Webber began Water’s Edge Sport Performance Inc. Drawing from years of paddling and coaching various canoes and kayaks Andrea continues to expand her horizons within the paddle sport coaching arena. Andrea has been involved with paddling, coaching and instructing for 38 years. With the desire to create innovative, effective and results oriented programs and teaching models for paddlers and coaches of all levels, Andrea and Jackie Webber began Water’s Edge Sport Performance Inc. Jason has been coaching sprint kayak and canoe, outrigger and dragon boat for over 10 years. He began his coaching career in 1995 as the regional sprint racing coach in Greater Vancouver. He has also served as the head coach of the Calgary Canoe Club in 1997 and since 1999 has continued to work with local paddlers and coaches in Calgary from all paddling disciplines. For three years Jason served as the coaching representative on Canoe Kayak Canada's High Performance Committee which is responsible for developing selection criteria for the World Championships and the Olympic Games. Currently he serves as Vice President on the Alberta Sprint Racing Canoe Association which is responsible for funding delivery for youth training and racing initiatives. Jason continues to stay active as a participant spending much have his leisure time paddling sprint canoe and kayak with the local youth and also enjoys marathon canoe racing and training.Competitive Accomplishments:

Connie brings 16 years of dragon boat coaching experience to the Water's Edge staff. She is a founding member of the Wasabi Paddling Club in Portland, Oregon - one of the largest paddling clubs in the United States. She is the head coach of the club’s winning gold medal women’s masters and grandmasters crews.Connie has worked closely with the Breast Cancer Survivor paddling community since 1993. She helped to create the first breast cancer survivor dragon boat team in the United States. Connie also founded Wasabi's Team SOAR, currently 1st in the world in Breast Cancer Survivor racing!
As an active member of the United States Dragon Boat Federation, Connie brings experience in club management and crew training. She works closely with many US dragon boat paddling clubs to enrich and improve the paddling experiences for their members.

Judy started paddling marathon boats in the early 1980s, however her paddling career really took off in 1986 when she joined the False Creek Racing Canoe Club and started paddling Dragon boats and Outriggers competitively both on the National and International front. Coaching became a natural transition, and allows her to share her paddling passion with others.
Judy has her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, which supports her ability to be an effective coach, as well it gives her great pleasure to motivate and inspire the best from her athletes.

Cam Taylor
Cam brings to the Water's Edge Team 12 years of experience in the Venture Capital market as well as a lifetime of paddling experience. He has competed internationally throughout the world in both Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe.He currently resides in London, United Kingdom, where he has spent the last five years building and developing Outrigger Canoe paddling in the UK. He still, however, finds himself racing in the Dragon Boat from time to time: most recently he competed at the 2007 European Club Crew Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia. As coach of OCUK (Outrigger Club United Kingdom) he has coached crews at races throughout the world from New Zealand, Europe and North America. He is the currently the head coach of England's Outrigger World Sprint team, where he has coached at the last two IVF World Sprint Championships. His experience as both an Outrigger and Dragon Boat coach helped two dragon boat crews race across the English Channel in aide of charity. He also takes special pride in his involvement in the adaptive paddling community and he has coached one of his athletes to podium finishes at the last two IVF World Sprint Championships.
His passion and commitment to paddle sports gives him a unique connection to all those within the European paddling community.

Kamini brings to the Water’s Edge Coaching Team more than two decades of success as both an athlete and coach. As an athlete she has enjoyed international success in sprint kayaking, earning 11 World Cup medals and competing in two Olympic finals (2000 and 2004). Since retiring from the National Kayak Team after the Athens Olympics, she has placed 4th in the 2004 Molokai OC-6 Crossing and won at the 2006 World Club Crew Dragon Boat Championships, the 2007 World Dragon Boat Championships, the 2008 World Sprint Outrigger Championships (V-6) and the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Canadian Nationals (OC-1). Kamini’s inspiration to keep competing at a high standard is, in part, to keep her on the cutting edge of coaching techniques. Her coaching objective is to help get paddlers on podiums. She has had success in this, coaching the False Creek Racing Canoe Club’s Men’s and Mixed Premier Dragon Boat Teams to 6 international medals since 2006 and a berth at the 2009 World Championships. At this year’s World Outrigger Sprints she had her debut as Canadian Coach, with the team recording a best ever performance with 15 medals. Kamini also works with teams and individuals striving for more local podiums by providing coaching, consulting or training programs. Kamini heads the Elite Performance arm of Water’s Edge through her company Right Angle Performance.
